The trailer for "Ai Means Love" was finally premiered today at the Shepardstown Opera House in West Virginia. This is the newest independent feature film of award winning production company, Lightsmith Productions. The music of the movie and trailer is composed by Sarah Eide. To watch the trailer, click HERE

Fishwife Tales' "Fishwife With Child" is one of 10 winners for the 2011 Berklee musical theater writing competition, "Curtain's Up"! Top Berklee students will be orchestrating the selected pieces, and they will be performed by a pit orchestra and the best musical theater vocalists in the school. The performance will be on May 2nd, 8pm in the David Friend Recital Hall.

On Saturday Feb. 26th, I will be featured on the BIRN's "Pure Love Pure Music" show, with DJ Chanelle Wu, who will play some of my music, as well as chat about "Fishwife Tales" and other interesting things. The show airs from 7pm-9pm!

Just received the announcement that I've been chosen, along with colleague Jefferey Hale, to be first asst. conductors to the BSCO (Berklee Contemporary Symphony Orchestra), working under conductor Francisco Noya ! The BCSO's Spring show will be held April 17th, at Jordan Hall.

Jean/Eide's Music and Poetry Collaboration "Fishwife Tales" has been officially invited to perform at the annual Massachusetts Poetry Festival !!! The festival will be held from May 13th to the 14th. Time and Location of performance TBA!
